You might also wish to combine some time on Safari with a visit to the famed Cape Town and surrounds, with its variety of scenery, activities, accommodation and world-class choice of restaurants (not to mention Wineries). It is also easy to add the iconic Garden Route to a Cape Town visit, allowing for a wonderful self-drive trip (you can also choose do this on a guided basis - whether in a small group, or with a private guide).
