Kruger Park Safaris
Although the Kruger National Park is excellent for self-drive Safaris, you might also like to consider a guided safari, whether privately or in small groups. This is particularly useful if you don't have a lot of time available, or if you are travelling on a bit of a budget!
Here are some suggestions, which you may find useful: based on collaboration with Outlook Safaris
On these Safaris, accommodation is in en-suite chalets in the Kruger Park Rest Camp of Skukuza. The chalets are equipped with beds, linen, towels and soap. In addition, there is a small fridge, air conditioning and mosquito proofing on the doors and windows.
You have a choice on one morning, of visiting selected attractions along the Panorama Route instead of joining the morning game drive (not applicable to 2 day safari). You get to the Lisbon Falls, Three Rondavels in the Blyde River Canyon and God’s Window – which easily constitute some of the most breath-taking scenery in South Africa.
On Safari you enjoy delicious breakfasts and 3 course dinners (the latter served al fresco, weather permitting). After dinner you share a bottle of wine around the camp fire and enjoy the sounds of the evening.

The ideal safari for a first-time visit or if you don’t have more time in the Kruger National Park. Enjoy 2 open vehicle game drives. You have the chance to see a good number of species, such as elephant, buffalo, lion, hippo, leopard, hyena, kudu, giraffe, zebra and much more. There are however never any guarantees and the more time you have in the bush, the better….
3 Day Classic
Participate on 3 open vehicle game drives and a SA National Parks sunset drive to give you the opportunity to also see nocturnally active animals.
4 Day Classic
The 4 Day Kruger Safari gives you enough time to see not only the better known animals, but also potentially some of the lesser seen species. This 4 Day Kruger Safari is long enough to experience more than “the basics”, but short enough to combine with a longer holiday in Southern Africa.
5 Day Classic
Experience the magic of the Kruger National Park on a 5 Day Kruger Park Safari. The 5 day or longer itineraries include a bush walk, allowing you to get really close to nature. On a 5 Day Kruger Safari you get the chance to spot a wide variety of animals, including not only the Big 5, but also kudu, bush buck, hyena, wild dog, cheetah and many birds such as African fish eagle, pied kingfishers, ground hornbills and many more.
Should have more time, you can extend to the 6 or 7 day Safari….
