Dine in the old world splendour of the original manor house, where you can savour the daily menu of gourmet fare, combining fresh ingredients from local markets. Food is paired exquisitely with celebrated wines from the local Winelands.
Although there is much to do in Cape Town and its surrounds, you might choose to spend time at the Retreat, which offers guests a mountain meditation pool, thickets of trees, waterfalls and streams. Enjoy the views stretch across the Atlantic Ocean and along the peaks of the Twelve Apostles Mountain Range, from the Deck House and The Villa. Make use of the Estate’s four swimming pools, tennis court, and spa. Here you can spoil yourself with a choice of massages, treatments and facials. Spend the day luxuriating; relaxing in the sauna and being revitalized with a deep massage. You might enjoy a gentle Nature Walk, which takes you trough the Glen Forest, to the historical Round House, finishing in the lush Camps Bay Retreat gardens. Johnny Loco bikes are also available for hire at the reception office. Cruise Camps Bay on one of these, and take in the fresh ocean breezes….. |
